Leeds Local NewsYouth delegates attend Core Cities Summit 2007Young people from across the country will be making sure the voice of youth is heard when they attend the Core Cities Summit, November 7th-8th in NottinghamThe 16-strong youth delegation will be engaged in a variety of activities during the summit, including hosting an information stall about what young people want, taking part in debates and workshops, and networking with adult delegates and decision-makers.Youth delegates from Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle and Sheffield will all be attending, as well as local delegates.A short film called What Do Young People Want? has been produced by Nottingham youth delegates especially for the occasion. Summit Chair, TV news broadcaster Jon Snow will show the film at the start of the summit, and challenge adult delegates to build relationships with the young people over the course of the event.
